'Another way to publish content and ideas', 'Thought leadership' and 'RSS syndication', 'A way to get information quickly to customers' are the top four factors in terms of having an impact on companies running blogs. While 'Crisis communications' is the factor where blogs have had the smallest impact on companies. Interestingly blogs have had a bigger impact on boosting search engine rankings and linking than increasing sales.
